Xbox 360 vs. PS3 ws. Wii

Hey, want to here all th good stuff abot the newest game systems in here.

Microsoft Xbox 360

Is the Wii backwards compatible with GC? Now that I've gotten into the Tales RPG series, I've heard nothing but good things about Tales of Symphonia, which only has an English version for the Gamecube. I suppose I could just buy the Gamecube and save myself several hundred dollars, but why should I buy outdated technology? Regardless, my vote is for PS3 if only because of the 1080p HD resolution which promises "details in human faces which will look so real that you'll be able to tell from a game character's face whether he's lying or telling the truth."

I think the BIG question is going to be color - as it stands now, the PS3 is the only system offering two true different colors (black and silver), where the 360 has only interchangeable face plates and vinyls you can lay over the sides, and I'm pretty sure the Wii only comes in that weird, dull matte off-white silver. All my tech is black and now all the systems are silver. F*ckin pisses me off...

Yes it is backwards compatible with GC games and you can dl all other games from the old systems for a price.

I vote Wii, because of the games and innovation and price.
2nd I vote 360, because the games, online features, and graphics etc.
3rd I vote PS3 because the launch titles are crap, and for the most part I don't like PS(#) games nearly as much.

Well, aside from having the best graphics capabilities and largest disc capacity, my vote goes to the PS3 because in spite of having just said that Tales of Symphonia which is apparently a fantastic game only came out for the Gamecube, the PS3 will undoubtedly still have the largest selection of RPGs, which is the only reason I even play console games nowadays.
Though realistically, I think once the price drops back down to normal ranges on the PS3, there's a good chance (or at least a chance) that I'll buy up all three systems. The PS3 for above reasons, the 360 because as a PC Slayer I have a responsibility to have a means through which to join everyone else in combative matches of the Halo 3 variety. And the Wii, well, mostly to own a piece of history as the last system Nintendo produces before they resign themselves to making games and whoring out their franchises to other systems, like that one company... you know the one I mean... the one who made the Sega CD, and the Sega Saturn... what was it called again?

I saw absolutely no difference between the PS3 and the 360 version. But for the Wii, I was laughing my ass off. Did anyone else see any differences?

Yeah, the Xbox and PS3 look different, mostly in how they handled the lighting (shadows too), where the Wii definitely didn't hold up in the graphics dept. However, the Wii is worth playing, if you check out the Wii Call of Duty 3 Review on GameTrailers... they explain how the game utilizes the pointer as your gun pointer pretty dang well and makes it worth playing over the others.
