What do you think about the .hack Series.

I have part one of the first series on PS2, and I loved the anime (though I've only seen .hack//Sign and a bit of Legend of the Twilight). I've heard good things about this new set of games, but its good only if you haven't played the first series, as the gameplay is apparently exactly the same. Just be aware that there's going to be four games in this new series just like the first one, and each one is NOT a conclusive story (if it's like the first), so expect to shell out damn near $200 to get to the end of the story.

I have to finish other games first. So by the time I am done with those .hack will probably be really cheap.
