We are thinking about doing this for Greg's Bday Weekend
http://www.gpstpete.com/tickets.cfm
Tell us what you guys think. Marks Bday is 2 weeks afterwards but he told me that he wouldn't be in town for that weekend.
Greg will keep us posted on his situation.
Tyler can you make this into its own section. |

| this is good, Mark's been talkin' this up for a while now. He wanted to know if I could make it, but I told him idk. Do you all mean to go also? or are you just buying the ticket for him? I think it's a good idea. |

| We were planning for all of us to go and hang out, but I am not sure yet as well until more people figure out what they are doing. |

| I might be able to go, but it all depends on how much f*cking work I'll have to do the following week (which for now looks like a french interview, two quizzes, a test and two writing workshops [also french]). On a related note - come fall I'm going to just drop half my shit during drop/add so this crap never happens again (so long as I still get my bright futures for having technically signed up for 12 credits) |

I called the ticket office today and here are the options:
General Admission: gets you access to the racetrack area, but you don't have assigned seats, you pretty just wander where ever to watch
Reserved Grandstands: you get assigned seating, overlooking the pit stop area which is also adjacent to the track, by the start/finish line
Paddock pass: gets you access you the garage areas where they work on the cars, even during race time based on what I was told.

I think I may go for gen. admission because Sebring is goin to cost a lil more this year because Audi is sponsoring it, so I'll look into what I can afford. We may wind up campin' and that could be fun, so we'll have to work that out. |

| Yeah, I was gunna ask about what we were doing for accommodations. Camping is okay, but I don't have a tent or anything since the last time I went camping was in the Cub Scouts, and even then I didn't go (said I was sick) because there was no way in hell I was spending an entire weekend in the woods with James Morgan. Wow, that was a real f*cking tangent. Anyway, I'm not particularly up for spending money on tickets and a tent & shit, so... I dunno - I guess I could sleep in my car or something if I have to. |

| Sounds interesting. My dad might have camping stuffs if we decided to do that, but I'm ok with splitting a hotel room if we have to. If that's the case, I may bring a sleeping bag or something if we want to all split 1 room (don't think we're technically supposed to do that, but hey). |

I reserved the room, 163 for 2 days (cheapest in area), has 2 double beds (FYI can fit 4 for you non-homophobes...)
Days Inn St Petersburg Tropicana
2595 54th Ave North
I-275 Exit 26 & 54th Ave North
St Petersburg, FL 33714 US
Phone: 727-522-3191
Fax:727-527-6120
So if more than 4 go, we'll need sleeping bags. |

| Sweet (and thnx)! In the interest of everyone's emotional and psychological well-being, I doth hereby invoke one of the most important of manlaws: If a hotel bed is to be shared by more than one man, and this bed-sharing is planned in advance, there shall be no wearing of the tighty-whities nor shall any of the parties involved "go commando." Men who breach this manlaw are to be evicted from the bed and forced to sleep on the couch or floor. If the breach of this manlaw is a surprise to other parties involved, the victim(s) are entitled to request the man in question go as-is to complete a menial outdoor task (getting ice or a soda is acceptable). |

| on a pseudo-related note: does chivalry trump manlaw? I say this because I was walking thru the pool area of my apartment complex, and saw a girl and her boyfriend walking towards me as I was opening the gate. Chivalry says I hold the gate open for the girl (which I did), but manlaw says I let the boyfriend get the gate. I should mention that the guy was walking behind the girl. |
